ASKIN Performance Panels are pleased to announce the acquisition of the Retracom Insulated Panel Contracting Business (Retracom), effective 20th December 2019.

ASKIN Performance Panels are the largest manufacturer and installer of insulated, fire-rated and architectural facade systems, roofing systems and temperature-controlled facilities in Australasia.

As part of the sale agreement, ASKIN has acquired all Retracom Contracting assets, customer contracts and transferred over all Retracom employees.

ASKIN Performance Panels CEO, Steve Clarke says the culmination of this acquisition marks a significant milestone in the insulated panel industry, creating a unique company with enhanced scale and an even larger national footprint.

“As the insulated panel industry continues to grow, ASKIN will be in the best position to support our customers with quality and compliant insulated panel solutions,” he says.

ASKIN’s multi-purpose, pre-finished and easy to install panel products, benefits clients with quality cold rooms, innovative supermarkets, green star buildings and state of the art sporting facilities. The vertically integrated business covers the complete building process from R&D, design, engineering through to manufacturing, supply and installation.

Steve says all parties to the sale are working hard to ensure a smooth and orderly transition, that heralds a new era in insulated panel manufacturing, installation and servicing.

The expanded business will continue to manufacture and install insulated panel products across a broad range of uses and applications across Australia and New Zealand.
